PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Environmental Service (DLH) has prepared comprehensive technical steps to anticipate the impact on cleanliness from the Persib Bandung match and the Champion Parade which is planned to be held on May 24-25, 2025.

DLH Secretary Sopyan Hernadi has identified two important days, namely May 24 and 25, 2025, as the peak of activities that require extra attention.

Cleaning will be carried out intensively since Saturday, May 24, 2025 evening around the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium and will continue the next day until Monday morning.

"For Saturday, we focus on cleaning around GBLA from night to dawn. Morning to noon we will clean because there are street vendor activities there too," he said in a coordination meeting, Friday (9/5/2025).

His party is also wary of the emergence of euphoria that causes Bobotoh to stay overnight in public areas such as Gedung Sate.

"This is our concern. We will maximize the cleaning especially ahead of Sunday's parade," Sopyan added.

Before the convoy takes place, his party will sweep various points in the city of Bandung so that the city is clean during the celebration.

After the parade, a large-scale cleanup was carried out again in the city center area, especially Gedung Sate, the Struggle Monument (Monju), and Jalan Cilaki which is also the location of street vendors. The final cleanup will be carried out after the evening entertainment event is over.

Meanwhile, Head of Bandung City Environmental Agency Dudy Prayudi stated that all cleaning fleets will be deployed to the maximum, even since Friday (9/5/2025) evening in anticipation of a parade after the Persib vs Barito Putra match.

"After that, focus on cleaning at dawn in crowded areas after the convoy," he said.

Dudy asked all SWK (Cleanliness Area Units) to be on full alert at dawn. He also anticipated piles of garbage on convoy routes such as flyovers, town squares, and the GBLA-Soekarno Hatta corridor.

"We combined the cleaning starting Saturday morning before 06.00 WIB," he said.
