PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Health centers in Bandung City have started providing Free Health Checks (PKG) for residents who have birthdays. One of them is at the Cijagra Lama Health Center, Jl. Buah Batu No.275, Turangga, Lengkong District, Bandung City.

PKG is a free health check-up program at community health centers for residents who have a birthday, from the birthday date until 30 days after.

The following are the criteria for residents who receive PKG rights:

1. Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers
For babies aged 2 days will receive various examinations related to congenital heart disease and growth and development monitoring. Toddlers and children up to 6 years old will be examined for growth and development, tuberculosis, eyes, ears, teeth, thalassemia, and blood sugar.

2. Adults
Ages 18 to 59 years old are also examined such as eyes, teeth, blood pressure, nutritional status, blood sugar, early detection of stroke and heart disease, kidney, breast cancer, cervical cancer, clinical obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and mental health. Then, there is also smoking and tuberculosis screening, and laboratory examination of blood sugar and lipid profile for ages 40 years and above.

3. Elderly
For the elderly aged 60 years and above, examinations of ears, eyes, teeth, diabetes mellitus, geriatrics, and nutritional status are carried out. Smoking and tuberculosis screening. Early detection of breast cancer, cervical cancer, stroke and heart disease, and COPD. As well as laboratory checks of blood sugar and lipid profiles.

For school-age children, PKG will be implemented in July when entering the new school year at school.

The implementation of PKG at the Cijagra Lama Health Center is carried out on Tuesdays and Fridays in a specially prepared place.

The requirements for this PKG service are to have downloaded the Satu Sehat Mobile (SSM) application, bring your KTP/KK, or bring a KIA book for children under 6 years old, have completed the independent screening on the SSM application, and for the elderly it is recommended to come with a companion.
