PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Head of the Bandung City Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP-PKK) Aryatri Bernatro said that RA Kartini's spirit of fighting for women's rights and equality should be emulated by women today. The struggle starts from education to women's equality in Indonesia.

"We must always maintain Kartini's spirit in fighting for education and women's rights," he said at a gathering with the Bandung City PKK TP, at the Pendopo, Monday (21/4/2025).

According to Aryatri, Kartini's spirit should not only live in history books, but must continue to flow in humans. The life history of RA Kartini can be an encouragement for women to drive change in their respective environments.

"Happy Kartini Day, this is a moment of reflection on the struggle of an extraordinary woman who has paved the way for the progress of Indonesian women," he said.

"The commemoration of Kartini Day is based on the visionary thoughts of a woman named Raden Ajeng Kartini. Therefore, the celebration of Kartini Day is not just an annual ceremony by wearing kebaya and participating in competitions," said Aryatri.
