PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin hopes that Hasan Sadikin General Hospital will continue to improve health services to the community as well as in the field of research.
Bey said this at the 101st anniversary commemoration of Hasan Sadikin General Hospital, Bandung, in the yard of Gedung Sate, Bandung, Saturday (19/10/2024).
The 101st anniversary of Hasan Sadikin General Hospital was celebrated at Gedung Sate, attended by 3,500 employees and 1,500 residents of Hasan Sadikin General Hospital.
"RSHS has implemented the use of the latest technology in diagnosis and treatment, such as the development of robotic telesurgery programs, organ transplants, and cancer treatment," said Bey Machmudin.
With sophisticated medical equipment, superior human resources, and the work system it has, Bey is confident that RSHS can provide fast and easy health services.
"Hopefully RSHS will become a great hospital, not a hese sagalana hospital," said Bey jokingly.
Bey also encouraged RSHS to become a leading health center hospital at the provincial, national and international levels.
Indonesian Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin acknowledged that RSHS is often highlighted by the public. The Ministry of Health is trying to improve and encourage better services.
"RSHS's job is to provide the best service, and now it is much better. At 101 years old, the older it is, the better it should be," said Budi.
The Minister of Health also encouraged government hospitals to become centers of education and research, including RSHS.
In this way, RSHS can collaborate with universities so that various sciences in the health sector can continue to develop.
Minister of Health Budi said that RSHS is like a large laboratory for medical science, pharmacy, and other sciences in the health sector.
"RSHS cannot be smart alone, it must be able to improve the capabilities of all hospitals in West Java. So all regents/mayors in West Java must upgrade their hospitals, their doctors must be agile in maintaining health, so if you are sick you don't need to leave West Java," said Budi.
RSHS Director Rachim Dinata Marsidi on the occasion of RSHS's 101st anniversary expressed his gratitude to the entire RSHS team who had worked hard and devoted half of their time to patients.
According to him, health challenges are increasingly dynamic, such as the global pandemic that occurred.
He invited the RSHS hospital community to continue to innovate and adapt to ensure that RSHS remains a center of excellence in health and research.
