PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin guarantees that the process of accepting new SMA/SMK/SLB students (PPDB) will continue even though in the middle of the process there is a change in leadership at the West Java Education Service.

Bey revealed that Wahyu Mijaya, who currently serves as Head of the West Java Education Department, will be appointed as Acting Regent of Cirebon Friday (17/5/2024). Bey said he already had the name of the daily executive head of the West Java Education Department.

"We will look for the right Plh (Daily Acting Head of Education). What is certain is that the Plh will not be from a position below him (echelon III) but from one at the same level (echelon II). It could be the head of the district or the head of the bureau," said Bey Machmudin, Gedung Sate, Thursday (16/5/2024).

"Essentially we want to not be disturbed at all (PPDB), I am sure the bureaucratic system in the West Java Provincial Government is good," added Bey.

As a form of commitment, the West Java Provincial Government has created an integrity pact which has now been handed down to the level of department heads and department branch heads (KCD) to also sign.

"This integrity pact is a commitment, not to make fraudulent things, so it is in accordance with the norms," he stressed.

West Java PPDB 2024 for SMA, SMK and SLB levels will start immediately with the first stage of selection on 3-7 June.
