PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - A house on Kp. RT 02, RW 05, Mancagahar Village, Pameungpeuk District reportedly experienced a fire.

According to a report from Plh. Head of Pameungpeuk Subdistrict Eko Hartono, the fire is thought to have started from an electrical short circuit when the house was being abandoned by its tenants who had returned home. This fire occurred at 21.00 WIB, Saturday (16/3/2024).

As a result, Maklik Leni Noviyanti's house measuring 6 x 10 meters was damaged. According to available reports, there were no fatalities or injuries due to the incident.

The Pameungpeuk District Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimcam) together with the Fire Department responded to the Mancagahar Village Head's report by immediately extinguishing the fire. Apart from that, the family who owns the house has also been moved to a safer place.
