PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - On the third day of Eid, Wednesday (2/4/2025), traffic flow in West Java showed a significant increase, especially on the main routes to tourist destinations such as Puncak, Bandung, and the Trans-Java route.
To overcome traffic jams, especially in Puncak, Bogor, a one-way system has been implemented from Jakarta to Puncak.
In addition, Jasa Marga also implemented contra flow traffic engineering on the Jagorawi Toll Road towards Puncak to reduce the congestion that occurred.
Although these efforts help reduce congestion, vehicle queues are still visible at several points, such as Simpang Gadog, with queues reaching 2 kilometers long.
Therefore, more intensive traffic arrangements are carried out, including the implementation of a one-way system for the return flow, starting from east to west.
In the future, drivers are expected to always comply with the instructions of officers to ensure smooth and safe travel during the Eid holiday period.
