PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) together with the West Java Provincial BPBD opened the 2026 Disaster Resilient ASN Training within the West Java Provincial Government, Wednesday (30/9/2026).

The activity was opened by the Head of BPSDM West Java, Ika Mardiah, who emphasized the importance of ASN preparedness in facing various disaster risks in West Java.

"It's important for civil servants to understand the risks, clarify roles, coordinate, and implement emergency SOPs, as well as ensure the continuity of public services," Ika said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the West Java Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Teten Ali Mulku Engkun, stated that disaster preparedness is a shared responsibility.

"This is a shared responsibility, especially for civil servants, as role models in society," he said.

Participants are equipped with risk identification, mitigation, initial emergency response, evacuation techniques, and the preparation of emergency response SOPs, which are reinforced through practice and simulations.

The training was attended by 78 ASN from 46 regional apparatuses and bureaus, consisting of 41 PNS and 37 PPPK, and was carried out using blended learning from September 25 to October 6, 2026.
