PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BEKASI - Chairman of the West Java Province Tilawatil Qur'an Development Institute (LPTQ), Dodo Suhendar officially inaugurated the 38th Council of Judges and Registrars of Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ) at the West Java Province Level, in the Ballroom of the Nuanza Hotel, South Cikarang (28/ 04/2024) evening.

Dodo Suhendar, who is also Asda 1 of the West Java Provincial Government, said that the entire Board of Judges appointed were people who were competent and had high integrity and were also professional in the MTQ arena at both provincial and national levels.

"I am very happy to be in the midst of the 38th MTQ Board of Judges, I hope that all the Board of Judges assigned by LPTQ West Java will carry out their duties according to the mandate they carry. I am sure that the professionalism of the panel of judges will be our capital for achievement in national event," he said after the activity.

Dodo Suhendar said that the role of the panel of judges also determines the level of success of the West Java Caravan in the National MTQ event. Moreover, there are also members of this panel of judges who have been provincial or national champions.

Not only that, it is hoped that the young panel of judges will also be able to provide encouragement to the West Java caravan to achieve achievements at the upcoming national level MTQ. Considering West Java Province, both STQH and MTQ at the national level are always under the shadow of 3rd or 4th ranking.

"Perhaps apart from the mental readiness of our children, their lack of competitiveness means that the West Java Caravan has not yet succeeded in becoming the General Champion like in 2010 in Bengkulu Province. "The desire to become the overall champion again at this year's MTQ must be realized," he explained.

On behalf of the West Java Provincial Government and the West Java LPTQ, Dodo Suhendar congratulated the 38th MTQ Judges who had been appointed and prayed that during this activity all of them would be given good health while on duty.
