PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government released 58 civil servants (PNS) who entered retirement starting from (TMT) 1/10/2026.

The farewell ceremony took place during the Commencement of Work Roll Call, which included the handover of the Decree (SK) for Civil Servant Promotion for the October 2026 period.

The activity took place at the Bandung City Hall Plaza on 28/9/2026 and was attended by Bandung City Government officials.

The Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Iskandar Zulkarnain, expressed his appreciation to ASN who had completed their service period.

Iskandar said the contributions of the retired officers had supported the implementation of government, development, and public services for the residents of Bandung City.

"On behalf of the Bandung City Government, we express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all civil servants who are retiring. Their dedication has been a vital part of Bandung City's development journey," he said.

According to Iskandar, retirement does not end contributions to society because experience can be a lesson for the next generation.

He asked the retired civil servants to set an example for the values of integrity, dedication, and loyalty that are still being implemented by the civil servants who are still actively carrying out their duties.

"The dedication of our seniors exemplifies that working as a civil servant is a mandate to serve the community wholeheartedly," he said.

Iskandar also invited civil servants to actively improve their performance and service quality to meet the ever-growing needs of the community.

The increasingly complex challenges of governance require a professional, adaptive apparatus capable of working together to solve public problems.

The handover of the decree on civil servant promotion for the October 2026 period also serves as a form of appreciation for employee dedication and performance.

Iskandar hopes that the promotion will encourage ASN to improve their competence and professionalism in providing services to the public.

"A promotion is not only an award, but also a greater responsibility to provide the best service to the community," he said.
