PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Regent of Garut, Rudy Gunawan, directly inaugurated the Public Service Mall (MPP) which is located in the Simpang Lima area, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency (18/12/2023).

The Regent of Garut said that this MPP is part of an order from the law, so that services can be integrated in one place called a mall, which in Garut Regency itself is located in the heart of Garut City, namely Simpang Lima.

"(The Simpang Lima area) never dies for a second, 24 hours 7 days 30 days, because there is no place here that is quiet 24 hours, and the public service mall only existed this year," said the Regent of Garut.

The Regent of Garut revealed that the Garut Regency MPP Building was named the RAA Wiratanudatar VIII Building, namely the previous Garut Regent who had led Garut for around 46 years.

"So I am a descendant of his younger brother RAA Wiratanudatar VIII or one of the sons of the seventh Wiratanudatar, he was the first Regent of Garut in 1913 but he ruled for 41 years, before that he came from Limbangan Regency," he continued.

He thanked all parties who have supported the existence of MPP in Garut Regency. The Regent of Garut revealed that the Garut Regency MPP had received a good assessment from the Financial Audit Agency (BPK).

In the same place, the Head of the Garut One Stop Investment and Integrated Services Service (DPMPTSP), Wahyudijaya, said that the inauguration of the Garut Regency MPP was a momentum for the Regency Government during the current leadership of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Garut, to give the best gift to the community in the form of Public Service Mall with integrated services between regional government, vertical agencies, BUMN and BUMD.

With this Public Service Mall, Wahyudijaya added, people don't need to access each agency, but just come to the Garut Regency MPP and people will get integrated services.

"It seems that the public doesn't need to access each agency, just go to us, so we will do it directly because the OSS RBA method automatically allows the public to get certification directly, except for permits that are more corporate in nature, be it "This PMA/PMDN must of course go through a review process first in the form of technical recommendations," he said.

At the Garut Regency MPP, Wahyudijaya said that there were 23 agencies from ministries, institutions, BUMN, BUMD and the private sector, with a total of 95 services. He explained that the 23 tenants at MPP had been effective in providing services to the community.

"We probably refer to service hours more as working hours, working hours from 8 to 4 on weekdays. On Friday it's half past five," he continued.

Wahyudijaya explained that launching the MPP today was part of introducing the MPP to the wider community, so that people could come and find out what the roles and functions of the agencies in the Garut Regency MPP were.

"And I think the sub-district heads were also invited throughout Garut Regency, I think this is also an inseparable part of the socialization process to the people of their respective sub-districts. I think in connection with the context of understanding the community will gradually understand the roles and functions of the Mall Public Service itself," he continued.

He added that since previously MPP had begun to gradually operate, one of which was services related to the Business Identification Number (NIB).

"Please the community to make the best use of it so that later Garut will be widely known for more than providing good service to prospective applicants (of services)," he concluded.
