PORTALJABAR, CIMAHI CITY - SMKN 1 Cimahi directly serves prospective students and parents who need information or experience technical problems in the registration process for the New Student Admission System (SPMB) of the Superior Human School (Maung) on the first day at school, Monday (25/5/2026).

The principal of SMKN 1 Cimahi, Agus Priyatmono Nugroho, explained that the school continues to update information regarding SPMB via social media as information on the registration process becomes more rapid.

"We're in the digital age now. So, on social media, we're also actively sharing information, ensuring it's always up-to-date. Because developments are changing so rapidly," he said.

He added that the school also provides direct services to parents and prospective students experiencing difficulties during the registration process. "We also provide services that we can assist with any difficulties these parents are facing," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the SPMB Committee of SMKN 1 Cimahi, Erwin, said that the school has prepared equipment and officers to assist people who experience problems, especially regarding accounts and filling in school choices.

"We at SMKN 1 Cimahi have prepared several devices and staff so that those experiencing difficulties can be served optimally," he said.

According to him, the most common challenges encountered on the first day of implementation were related to accounts and the process of entering school choices. Therefore, the school opened direct services for those in need of assistance.

"If there are prospective students who don't have an account yet, we can help them create one here. So, people can come directly to the school," he said.

One parent, Novi, experienced this service. She said she received explanations and assistance from the school when she encountered problems with the registration system.

"Thank God, the service at the school is good, communicative, clear, and well-directed. Any challenges are also well-explained," he said.

He admitted to having encountered some issues because the uploaded documents were still being read as incomplete by the system. However, after visiting the school, the staff were able to resolve the issue.

"Everything was uploaded earlier, but some information was still incomplete. Thank God, we've explained it and provided assistance," he said.

Regarding the SPMB account, Novi stated that she experienced no issues because the account had been provided by her school and was immediately accessible since morning. (Apun)
