PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Government is collaborating with the Center for Teacher Mobilization (BBGP) to improve teacher competency in West Java.
This collaboration began with the signing of the Cooperation by the West Java Provincial Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman and the Head of West Java BBGP Mohamad Hartono at the West Java BBGP Office, Jl. Diponegoro Number 12, Bandung City, Monday (3/6/2024).
According to Herman, the West Java Provincial Government and the West Java BBGP are committed to encouraging teachers in West Java to become Driving Teachers, namely teachers who have an important role in improving the quality of education in schools.
Not only teaching, Mobilization Teachers also act as motivators, mobilizers and facilitators in fostering students' enthusiasm for learning, so that they can become a catalyst for educational change in their area.
"We from the West Java Provincial Government together with BBGP will encourage all teachers in West Java to become driving teachers," said Herman Suryatman.
"Wait for the play date, prepare mentally, want to move for the benefit of the children and the interests of the future," he added.
Herman also said that one of West Java's long-term visions is to become the most advanced province. To make this happen, quality Human Resources (HR) are needed.
"How does it increase? With education, and teachers are the entity that will determine the quality of education in West Java," he said.
