PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Government has developed a breakthrough in educational technology in the form of an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot platform, Panduan Anak Didik dengan Artificial Intelligence (PANDAI) to help high school/vocational school/Islamic high school students plan their future.

Head of the West Java Province Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo Jabar), Mas Adi Komar stated that currently PANDAI is still in the limited trial stage in the Greater Bandung area.

"We are currently evaluating and improving the system before it is officially launched to all high schools in West Java," said Mas Adi Komar (19/4/2025).

The PANDAI platform is the result of collaboration between the West Java Communication and Information Service, the West Java Education Service (Disdik), and the Manpower and Transmigration Service (Disnakertrans).

This strategic collaboration combines expertise in information technology, education data, and AI system development.

PANDAI is designed to analyze students' personalized data to provide accurate career recommendations, as well as map the suitability between student profiles and various professional fields and provide projections of future career opportunities.

This service is also equipped with features for recommendations for study programs at universities, college registration procedures, and scholarship information for underprivileged students.

PANDAI is even able to provide an overview of prospective business sectors according to students' interests and talents, with data on industrial growth and job market needs in the next 5-10 years.

"All PANDAI recommendations are based on integrated data from the Education Office. It is hoped that it can immediately serve all high school students through easy and personal interactions on WhatsApp," concluded Mas Adi Komar.
