PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Bogor Regency Government (Pemdakab) received IPDN Praja from the Applied Bachelor Program to carry out Internship activities within the Bogor Regency Government.
The IPDN students were received by the Assistant for Government and Public Welfare (Aspemkesra) Zaenal Ashari, in Meeting Room I, Bogor Regency Regional Secretariat, Wednesday (9/4/2025).
A total of 14 IPDN cadets from the Applied Undergraduate Program carried out Internship I, II, and III activities. Internship I was carried out at the Village/Sub-district government level. Internship II was at the Sub-district government level, and Internship III was at the Regional Work Unit level.
It is known that internship activities in the form of work practices as direct learning in the workplace (experiential learning) to obtain hard skills (skills, complex problem solving, analytical skills) and soft skills (professional ethics and work ethic, as well as communication and cooperation.
Representing Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto, Aspemkesra Zaenal Ashari reminded the IPDN Praja that the theory learned in class and the practice in the field will be different. Without being equipped with good experience, it will be difficult to face various problems that occur in the field.
"Therefore, I entrust this activity as an opportunity to be able to find out the conditions in the region, to apply what has been learned in class, because after graduating, of course, you must be ready to enter the community," he said.
Zaenal said, the individual provisions must have been owned by these IPDN Praja, it is just a matter of how to apply the theory and practice in the field. He also reminded them to improve their communication skills, because communication is often an obstacle in carrying out tasks.
"Make good use of this valuable time, never feel like we know everything, look at a problem not just from the surface, but in more detail and in depth," he said.
Also present were the Head of the Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo), Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD), Secretary of BKPSDM, Sub-district Heads and Village Heads in Bogor Regency.
