PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government expressed its appreciation to seven companies subject to the Goods and Services Tax on Electricity for achieving 101 percent tax revenue and directly strengthening Regional Original Income for financing public services (January 9, 2026).

The award was presented by the Acting Regent of Bekasi, Asep Surya Atmaja, together with the Head of the Bekasi Regency Regional Revenue Agency, Iwan Ridwan, at the Bekasi Regency Government Plaza, Central Cikarang, after the male and female employee exercise activity.

Asep Surya Atmaja stated that this achievement exceeded the regional tax revenue target set in the Revised Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget for the 2025 Fiscal Year.

"Today, we are dedicating our appreciation to seven companies for achieving 101 percent tax revenue realization, exceeding the target," said Asep Surya Atmaja.

Data from the Regional Revenue Agency recorded a Regional Tax target of IDR 3,710,547,650,722 with the realization of Electricity PBJT until December 31, 2025 reaching IDR 502,998,078,590 or 100.58 percent of the target of IDR 500,082,479,000.

This achievement makes the Electricity PBJT the main supporter of Regional Original Income which has an impact on the sustainability of development and public services in Bekasi Regency.

Asep Surya Atmaja emphasized that optimizing regional taxes is a solution to maintaining fiscal stability amidst reduced transfer funds from the central government.

"All regions face fiscal challenges, so Regional Original Income must be optimized to ensure public services continue to operate," said Asep Surya Atmaja.

The Bekasi Regency Government expressed its appreciation to all taxpayers because the electricity tax contribution helps finance infrastructure, health, and basic services for residents.

The seven companies that received the PBJT Electricity award include PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Cikarang, PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bekasi, PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Gunung Putri, PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Marunda, PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk, PT Bekasi Power, and PT Fajar Surya Wisesa.
