PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - The Ciamis Regency Government participated in the 2026 Digital Government Performance Evaluation Interview Assessment to measure the effectiveness of digital-based public services.

The activity took place in the Procurement Services Unit (ULP) Room of the Ciamis Regional Secretariat on Tuesday, 22/9/2026.

Ciamis Regency Regional Secretary Andang Firman Triyadi led the evaluation presentation and emphasized the benefits of digitalization for public service access.

"The use of digital technology is very effective and provides easy access to services, considering the vast area of Ciamis Regency," said Andang.

The Ciamis Regency Government clarified various evidence of the implementation of digitalization that had been carried out during the interview stage.

According to Andang, the use of digital technology can help the government save expenses amidst budget constraints.

"By utilizing digital technology, we can minimize expenses amidst various limitations. This assessment is part of our process to measure the extent to which we have utilized this technology," he emphasized.

The evaluation assesses the impact of digital transformation on ensuring that government services truly provide convenience to the public.

In addition, the evaluation encourages integration of services between agencies so that the public does not need to repeatedly fill in the same data.

Other aspects include improving work patterns, bureaucratic culture, data governance, cybersecurity, efficiency, and accountability.

Head of the Ciamis Regency Communications and Informatics Office, Enda Hidayat, said the evaluation was a phase of adaptation to changes in governance.

According to Enda, the change from an Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) to a Digital Government (Pemdi) requires a continuously updated understanding of regulations.

"While we previously had a good grasp of the SPBE ecosystem, we are now facing a new paradigm: Pemdi. We are continuing to conduct studies and in-depth research to ensure its implementation aligns with the new regulatory guidelines," Enda explained.

Enda assigned the Head of the Informatics Applications Division (APTIKA) to coordinate with all regional apparatus to achieve a common understanding.

"I have assigned the Head of the APTIKA Division to act as a playmaker and immediately coordinate with colleagues across all Regional Apparatuses. We will align our perceptions, then present a portrait of the current digital governance of Ciamis Regency as fully and objectively as possible," Enda concluded.

This step is expected to produce an objective picture of digital governance and serve as a basis for improving public services for the people of Ciamis.
