City Government Appreciates New Innovation at TPI Bandung Class I Immigration Office

PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) appreciates the new innovation of the TPI Bandung Class 1 Immigration Office passport service, one of the main breakthroughs highlighted is the extension of the passport validity period from 5 years to 10 years.

Acting Mayor of Bandung Bambang Tortoyuliono said that the TPI Bandung Class I Immigration Office was the pioneer of innovation in extending passport validity periods.

"The TPI Bandung Class I Immigration Office is a pioneer in extending the passport validity period to 10 years, replacing the previous duration of only 5 years," said Bambang at the TPI Bandung Class I Immigration Office, Monday (29/4/2024).

In addition, immigration offices have also switched to using polycarbonate material for passports, increasing the durability and security of these documents.

Bambang also said that these innovations are important steps in improving public services in the immigration sector in Bandung City.

He also appreciated the immigration office's efforts in providing more efficient and modern services to Bandung City residents.

According to him, synergy between the city government and the immigration office is really needed.

"I think the city government needs to work together to think about future steps in order to improve immigration services in the city of Bandung," he said.

Head of the TPI Bandung Class I Immigration Office, Agung Pranomo, said that the immigration office is able to serve around 500 - 1000 people per day, reflecting the high demand for passport services in the city of Bandung.

By receiving appreciation from the Bandung City Government, the TPI Bandung Class I Immigration Office is committed to continuing to improve the quality of immigration services for the community.
