PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan emphasized that the Bandung City Government has begun to regulate advertisements that do not have permits or violate regulations as an effort to maintain the safety of residents and make the city look more orderly (1/4/2026).

The regulation was carried out with reference to regional regulations and mayoral regulations governing the implementation of advertising in the City of Bandung.

Farhan said this step was part of enforcing regulations so that all advertising organizers comply with applicable provisions.

"Starting today, we will carry out enforcement in accordance with the advertising regulation," said Farhan.

The city government prioritizes taking action against advertisements that do not have permits or do not meet the established technical requirements.

"Several advertisements that no longer comply with regional and mayoral regulations will begin to be regulated," said Farhan.

He assessed that the existence of illegal advertising not only disrupts the beauty of the city but also has the potential to endanger the public if its construction does not meet safety standards.

"This is not only about the beauty of the city, but also concerns the safety of residents," said Farhan.

Arranging advertising is an important step to ensure that city spaces remain comfortable for residents and tourists visiting Bandung.

The Bandung City Government is implementing the enforcement in stages by involving relevant regional apparatus to ensure that the implementation runs according to regulations.

"We want everything to run according to the rules and no more violations will be allowed," said Farhan.
