PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BEKASI - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin invited workers to celebrate International Labor Day with activities that are useful and positive for society.

He said this after inaugurating the revitalization of the Cikarang Bridge connecting the EJIP - MM2100 Industrial Area in Bekasi Regency, Wednesday (1/5/2024).

"Let's commemorate Labor Day with activities that are positive and have a good impact on society," said Bey Machmudin.

Coinciding with the commemoration of Labor Day, Bey hopes that all workers can present positive events because according to him, this can improve the soft skills that workers have.

"Let's commemorate Labor Day with positive and conducive activities, also to improve skills, such as workers in Bandung holding a symposium, which is also held in several districts/cities," he added.

Bey also revealed that the government felt the impact of the workers' performance in driving the national economy.

"The government has designated Labor Day as a holiday, so this means that the government recognizes that workers have an important role in the national economy," concluded Bey.
