PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Garut Christian Cooperation Forum (FKKG) held a breaking of the fast event involving elements of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), interfaith figures, and the community.

This event was held in an effort to strengthen friendship and build togetherness in the holy month of Ramadan, which was held at the Hall of Yos Sudarso Middle School, Garut Regency, Monday (10/3/2025).

Garut Regent Syakur Amin, in his speech, appreciated the activity as a real manifestation of harmony and tolerance between religious communities in Garut Regency.

"This activity is an attitude that should be appreciated and I feel proud of it because it is a form of strengthening ties in this blessed month," he said.

In addition to being a moment of togetherness, this event is also used as a forum for discussion regarding security and order during Ramadan.

"By building good communication between Forkopimda and interfaith groups, as well as the community, a conducive atmosphere can be created in Garut Regency," he said.

The atmosphere of breaking the fast took place in a warm and togetherness atmosphere, where all participants who attended the event followed the event in an orderly, smooth and conducive manner.

At the end of his speech, Regent Syakur hoped that activities like this could continue to be carried out as an effort to strengthen the relationship between government elements, religious leaders, and the community.
