PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Acting. The Regent of Garut, Barnas Adjidin led the morning assembly which was located at the Garut Industry, Trade, Energy and Mineral Resources Service Office (Disperindag ESDM), Jalan Merdeka, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency, Tuesday (13/2/2024).

On this occasion, the Acting Regent of Garut asked for participation and support from all employees of the Garut ESDM Department of Industry and Trade as long as he carries out his government duties and functions, especially in the area of the ESDM Department of Industry and Trade.

On the other hand, he reminded that the activities or programs to be carried out must be clear in terms of targets, targets and results to be achieved. Barnas explained that the activities that will be carried out will start from plans that have been prepared in 2023, then implemented in 2024 as stated in the Budget Implementation Document (DPA).

Apart from that, he said that in order for the implementation of these activities to run smoothly, there needs to be a short and fast study, so that what will be implemented can have accountable results, be on time, have the right amount and be on target.

"And have not only the output but the outcome, the value of the benefits, so don't let there be activities that are just activities, but no results are obtained from the activity process," he said.

In this rally, he also touched on the policy of using typical Garut products, namely on Tuesdays using typical Garut leather product attributes, and on Fridays wearing Garutan batik.

Barnas emphasized that by using local products, this will help with the progress of Garut Regency and increase the income of Garutan leather craftsmen and batik makers.

"I'm not a Garut person, but now I feel like I'm the most Garut person because I have a saying that the sky upholds, if we live in a place, it means we have to be people where we live, especially Garut people," he said.
