PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Mayor of Bandung Bambang Tirtoyuliono reminded all levels of Bandung City Regional Apparatus (PD) to carry out and accelerate the president's direction regarding regional government performance.

Bambang expressed this when chairing the Leadership Meeting at Bandung City Hall, Thursday (2/11/2023).

President Joko Widodo gave a number of directions to acting regional heads throughout Indonesia on Monday, October 30 2023 at the State Palace, Jakarta. In his direction, the President encouraged regional governments to control inflation by maintaining price stability for basic necessities on the market.

The seven directions presented were, starting from economic growth, controlling inflation, government intervention in stabilizing prices, strengthening the investment climate, intensifying social assistance, supporting national strategic programs such as handling stunting, extreme poverty, and downstream production, to supporting regional stability and conduciveness. in facing the 2024 elections.

"The seven presidential directives must be of concern to all of us in running the government," he said.

Bambang said that data accuracy is very important, especially in handling various programs such as controlling inflation, reducing stunting and handling the problem of extreme poverty.

"Of course this data is very important so that we can be right on target in our efforts to intervene in various existing problems," he said.

He also reminded all PDs to continue to coordinate and collaborate. With collaboration, continued Bambang, program completion will run optimally.

"This is of course a joint task. We must ensure that we can achieve our targets," he said.

Bandung City Regional Secretary (Sekda) Ema Sumarna also asked all PDs to focus on the president's directions.
