PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Cooperatives are a forum for improving the economy for their members. This is believed by the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono.
However, to continue to thrive, Bambang asked cooperatives to increase innovation for the welfare, especially of cooperative members.
"Of course innovation is the keyword, the main task of cooperatives is to ensure the prosperity of their members," said Bambang at the Bandung City Government Employees Cooperative (KPKB) Annual Member Meeting (RAT), at the KPKB Building, Wednesday (21/2/2024).
He is of the opinion that one of the aims of establishing a cooperative is to improve the welfare of its members, providing the best service to its members, whether from buying and selling goods, production, or savings and loan activities.
"In 2024 we are currently preparing a program, this must provide attractive results for cooperative members. "I hope that the number of ASN in the Bandung City Government of around 15 thousand people can join the cooperative," he said.
Chairman of the KPKB Management, Yaya Sunarya, said that the aim of holding the Annual Member Meeting (RAT) was to realize transparency and accountability in the implementation of the management of Bandung City Government employee cooperatives.
Meanwhile, the work program that has been implemented by the KPKB Management for the 2023 Financial Year can be realized and implemented optimally. This can be seen from the independent auditor's report from the Hf Public Accounting office. Peddy Dasuki & Colleagues Who Provide Reasonable Opinions.
He said, in 2023 there will be 4,689 KPKB members. In December 2023 it will decrease due to retirement and death.
“307 people retired or took medication and 29 people died. "So the data as of December 2023 is 4,640 KPKB members," he said. (rdp*)
