PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bandung, 1 November 2023 - PT PLN (Persero) moved quickly to overcome problems with the 150 kilovolt (kV) High Voltage Air Line (SUTT) Kiaracondong - Gedebage. PLN's swift steps were taken to overcome the disturbance that occurred at 10.24 WIB Tuesday (31/10). So at 10.50 WIB, the electrical system was successfully returned to normal.

This disruption also had an impact on the operation of the Whoosh G1126 fast train on the Tegalluar-Halim route and G1123 on the Halim-Padalarang route, as well as a number of areas in the Bandung area.

"We apologize profusely for the electrical disturbances that occurred to the community and also KCIC. Due to the extreme increase in temperature in the last few weeks, several electrical installation components have experienced overheating and decreased reliability. "We continue to make efforts to prevent similar incidents, PLN and KCIC have also carried out intensive coordination," said PLN UID West Java General Manager Susiana Mutia in a press release.

Susiana also said that PLN is committed to continuing to improve services to customers.
