Cibinong Regional Hospital Cuts Waiting Times for Outpatient Services Through the LARAS Project

PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Cibinong Regional General Hospital (RSUD) continues to strive to improve the quality of services, one of which has succeeded in reducing waiting times for outpatient services through the LARAS project.

This waiting time optimization implementation program collaborates with the Health Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS).

This was said by the Director of Cibinong Regional Hospital, Yukie Meistisia Satoto at a sharing session and socialization on the implementation of LARAS, at the Ole Suites Hotel and Cottage, Babakan Madang (20/3/2024).

LARAS is a method used to provide easy and fast service. The public can optimize online queues, so that the buildup in hospitals can be reduced.

The aim is to speed up the time for outpatient services in hospitals, so that quality improvements can really be felt

The Director of Cibinong Hospital, Yukie Meistisia Satoto, explained that in providing support for the transformation of health services launched by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the implementation of the JKN program which is getting better, innovation is needed that is oriented towards improving the quality of services, one of which is ease and speed in accessing home outpatient services. Sick.

"Following up on the LARAS project as an effort to improve the quality of health services at Cibinong Regional Hospital, a team was formed to optimize the waiting time for hospital services. From the original outpatient queue time at Cibinong Regional Hospital, namely 4 hours 44 minutes 23 seconds to 1 hour 50 minutes, some even 1 hour 21 minutes," explained Yukie.

Yukie further explained that Cibinong Regional Hospital has formed a team to optimize waiting times for hospital services which will help monitor the process of implementing hospital activities.

The duties of the implementation team include, among others, coordinating with BPJS Health Cibinong Branch regarding the implementation of activities, collecting data and information related to activities, identifying problems with implementation objects with BPJS Cibinong Branch. Carry out problem analysis and determine solutions to identify problems found and finally implement and monitor evaluation of the solutions determined.

"We carry out monitoring and evaluation strictly, so that we can work according to the specified targets, so we can face any challenges," explained Yukie.

Yukie expressed his deepest gratitude to BPJS Health for its guidance and assistance in the LARAS project which was carried out as an effort to help optimize waiting times for outpatient services in hospitals.
