The Task Force for the Eradication of Illegal Financial Activities (Satgas PASTI) or previously the Investment Alert Task Force once again reminds and invites the public to be vigilant and not be tempted by investment offers or to invest funds in activities whose legal aspects are unclear.

The PASTI Task Force has received complaints and reports from the public who feel they have been harmed due to placing their funds in activities carried out by an entity called PT Xpertise Future Analytics Indonesia (PT XFA AI), the entity claims to be carrying out business activities in the form of server rentals.

The offer attracted public interest because it provided business opportunities and promised high returns in a short time.

Following up on the complaint and report, the PASTI Task Force has held a coordination meeting with the relevant PASTI Task Force members to ensure the legal aspects of PT XFA AI and the business activities it carries out.

The PASTI Task Force has also summoned the management of PT XFA AI to ask for information and clarification even though the person concerned was not present at the appointed time.

Based on the results of the coordination meeting of the PASTI Task Force members, PT XFA AI was deemed to have carried out activities that violated applicable provisions, including:
1. carrying out activities that are not in accordance with the permits they hold;
2. making offers for fund placement, member recruitment, and service product offerings that lead to Ponzi schemes; and
3. does not have a permit as an Electronic System Organizer (PSE).

Based on the above and in order to implement the mandate of the Law on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (UU P2SK), the PASTI Task Force will take action in the form of blocking the legal entity PT XFA AI, blocking applications, sites and social media related to PT XFA AI, as well as coordinating with law enforcement officers and other related institutions to carry out law enforcement efforts.

The PASTI Task Force appeals to the public to always be careful in accepting offers of fund placement or fund participation with high returns and without risk. The public is expected to check the completeness of permits and business activities to the authorized institutions.

For people who find information or investment offers with suspicious or suspected illegal methods and provide promises of illogical returns, they can report it to the OJK Contact with telephone number 157, WA (081157157157), email: konsumen@ojk.go.id or email: satgaspasti@ojk.go.id.
