PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Garut Regency Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) handed over 8,443 bottles of liquor (alcohol) to be destroyed during the Evidence Destruction event which has permanent legal force from the Garut District Court.

The event was held at the Garut Regency District Prosecutor's Office, Jalan Merdeka, Tarogong Kidul District, on Tuesday (9/7/2024).

Head of the Garut Regency Civil Service Police Unit (Kasatpol PP) Usep Basuki Eko, who was present at the event, said that this destruction included 8,443 bottles of alcohol from three case files that had been decided unanimously.

Apart from that, Usep revealed, in the midst of the extermination, the Garut Regency Satpol PP team succeeded in carrying out alcohol arrest operations in two locations, namely around the Guntur Terminal and the STM Roundabout. Evidence that was successfully secured includes:
1. Onemed: 20 bottles
2. Large essence: 8 bottles
3. Small AO: 3 bottles
4. Lion King Beer: 1 can
5. Frost: 4 cans
6. Tuak: 3 jerry cans and 22 packs
