PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Bogor Regency Regional Secretary (Sekda) Burhanudin chaired the 2024 Bogor Regency Regional Spatial Planning Forum (FRPD) coordination meeting (Rakor), which took place at the Harris Hotel, Bogor Regency, Monday (29/4/2024).

This coordination meeting aims to increase the effectiveness of implementing the Bogor Regency spatial plan.

Burhanudin said that to develop Bogor Regency, work guidelines are the main key to the success of development and regional planning of Bogor Regency, the guidelines are the Regional Long Term Development Plan (RPJPD) and the Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) so that they can be more focused and optimal in their implementation. So that the regional vision and mission can be connected with the provincial and central vision and mission.

According to him, there are two things to regulate spatial planning, namely spatial pattern and spatial structure. This spatial planning is the basis for creating the vision and mission of Bogor Regency. With this spatial planning, it is required to explore the maximum potential for society, and overcome problems to a minimum.

"Our guidebook is the RPJP, RPJMD and Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) to develop Bogor Regency. "Spatial planning is mandatory and must be reorganized by us wisely and judiciously for the benefit and welfare of the community," he said.

As is known, there are three points in the transformation of Bogor Regency's spatial planning goals for 2024-2043, namely, achieving goals based on the quality of spatial planning, to reduce regional disparities, improve the economy based on a circular economy, and reduce the Disaster Risk Index, meaning that this arrangement aims to achieve equality. , well-being and sustainability.

This can be realized through eight policies, namely structuring the residential center system in a tiered and synergistic manner, improving the quality and availability of an environmentally friendly transportation network system. Development and management of quality and environmentally friendly infrastructure network systems.

Then optimize the regional protection function, optimize the function of agricultural, livestock and fisheries areas, develop industrial, tourism and mining areas. Providing quality, safe, comfortable and connected residential areas, as well as encouraging competitive regional economic growth, preserving natural resources, utilizing high technology and protecting local culture.

Assistant for Economics and Development for Bogor Regency, Suryanto, said that this forum was a more effective means of making policies with all elements, including society. So that the benefits of the development arrangements carried out can be felt by the wider community.
