PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Garut Regency Regional Financial Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) held ISO 9001:2015 Internal Quality Audit Training in the Garut Regency BPKAD Hall.

Garut Regency BPKAD Secretary, Saepul Hidayat, said that the two-day training involved 35 employees appointed as the ISO team. According to him, this quality audit certification will improve operational performance and employee value.

"So the hope is that our BPKAD employees will have quality audit certification. "Well, this quality auditor complies with ISO standards," he said.

The aim of this activity, said Saepul, is to achieve international service quality standards. So that Garut Regency BPKAD services have good processes, meet international institutional standards, and provide satisfaction to the community.

"The most important output to be produced is community satisfaction. "So the community is satisfied or the community in the sense of customers, including SKPD and also the community, are satisfied with the services available at BPKAD," he said.

Accompanying Consultant from PT QIMS Intrasindio, Vita Monica Sari, stated that this activity was a stage of implementing ISO 9001:2015, with an independent certification audit as a follow-up. Participants, who have passed internal quality audit certification, will become internal auditors to monitor conformity in various fields.

"The most important thing is understanding of all participants consisting of all structural and functional officials at BPKAD Garut," he added.

Vita explained that the next stage after this activity was the implementation of an internal audit carried out by internal audit at BPKAD. Meanwhile, the auditors themselves are participants who have qualifications and have passed internal quality audit certification.

"Qualified auditors, who have graduated to become participants, audit fields using the cross-audit method, so it is a cross-field audit. "For example, the head of the budget department audits Bandages," he said.

Carrying out this internal audit, according to the ISO standard clause, is a mandatory stage in implementing ISO 9001:2015. This activity is expected to be the first step so that auditors understand their role in seeking conformity within the agency.

"So we don't want a consultant, but we want an ISO standard clause, it is mandatory in clause 922 of internal audit, it is mandatory for organizations to carry out an internal audit (or) evaluation every year at least once," he said.

This activity is a continuous step after BPKAD has implemented ISO documentation.

Internal audit using the ISO approach is an audit process to add value and improve the operational performance of a company or institution. (rdp*)
