PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Deputy Regent (Wabup) of Garut Putri Karlina attended the Sharing and Breaking Fast event held by the Garut Tangan Di Atas (TDA) Community at the Glowing Garden, Garut Regency, Monday (10/3/2025).

In her speech, Putri appreciated TDA Garut's initiative in organizing this activity. She considered that an entrepreneurial community like TDA is very important for entrepreneurs to be able to support each other and share experiences in facing business challenges.

"Because if they are alone, sometimes when they are at a low point, they are worried and will retreat. Because I understand, there is no entrepreneur who has never failed," he said.

Putri emphasized that failure is part of an entrepreneur's journey. According to her, courage and a mature understanding of the market are the main factors in running a business.

He emphasized that for an entrepreneur, time is a very important thing because every second will have a big impact on the business he owns.

"When we have reached the point of financial independence, it is great, meaning that the autopilot is running by itself, and the most noble thing about being an entrepreneur is being able to open up employment opportunities," he said.

He also explained that the key to success for an entrepreneur is a mature idea accompanied by a study of the market share of a business.

Putri assessed that even if an entrepreneur starts a business with large capital, it will not be successful if the idea is not mature.

Putri even told a story about when she was once idealistic in business, but the results were not good because she did not understand the market. Over time, she focused more on the market persona, so that her business grew better.

"That's why my business is getting busier, because it means my experience in understanding this market is more solid than my previous businesses," he said.

TDA Garut Chairman Taufik explained, the TDA Community has been established since 2006 in Jakarta, starting from a group of traders in Tanah Abang. Currently, TDA has grown to more than 42,000 members in 140 regions in Indonesia.

"TDA is already national in scale and is open to collaborating with the government. We also just held an Entrepreneurship Party last January to celebrate TDA's 18th anniversary," he said.

According to Taufik, the TDA community is not just a business forum, but also a family for entrepreneurs to discuss, share experiences, and find solutions in running a business.
