PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Kirmir behind the Adipura complex, Palem cluster, broke 15 meters long, Saturday (8/3/2025) morning. As a result, water entered the residents' complex.

The overflowing water also inundated the Pinus and Tulip clusters of the Adipura Housing Complex.

The collapse of the embankment is thought to have been due to it not being able to withstand the water due to the high rainfall in the Greater Bandung area.

Seeing this condition, residents worked together to repair the 15-meter long kirmir. Although most residents were fasting, they worked together to repair the kirmir in an emergency manner. Residents repaired the kirmir using sacks and sand.

In an effort to reduce waterlogging, the Bandung City Water Resources and Highways Agency has also operated a pump car. The pump car sucks water from the back channel of the complex and discharges it into the Cinambo River.

In addition, two pump houses located on Jalan SOR GBLA also continue to be turned on. (Bandung City Communication and Information Service/rka)
