PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government (Pemdakab) together with the Bekasi Regency DPRD are pushing for the inauguration of Prospective Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) to be carried out according to schedule in April 2025.

This step was taken even though the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) had issued a circular on March 7, 2025, which regulates the adjustment of the appointment schedule for State Civil Apparatus Candidates (CASN) in 2024.

Head of the Bekasi Regency Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM) Endin Samsudin emphasized that the Bekasi Regency Government has made various preparations, including salaries and administrative stages, so that the inauguration of PPPK Candidates can run according to plan.

"The Bekasi Regency Government is ready to carry out the appointment of honorary employees as PPPK Candidates in April, as scheduled. We have prepared all the needs, including administration and salaries," said Endin after a joint commission meeting at the Bekasi Regency DPRD, Thursday (13/3/2025).

He also explained that the issuance of Employee Identification Number (NIP) for honorary employees who will be appointed as PPPK Candidates is still awaiting technical considerations from the State Civil Service Agency (BKN). However, the Bekasi Regency Government ensures that all administrative requirements have been met.

As a follow-up step, the Bekasi District Government has coordinated with the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform and the National Civil Service Agency to confirm the readiness of the inauguration according to schedule. In a meeting with the Deputy for Human Resources of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, the Bekasi District Government confirmed its readiness from the financial and administrative side.

"We have conveyed to the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform that Bekasi Regency is ready to carry out the inauguration of PPPK Candidates in April 2025. We hope that with the support of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform and BKN, this process can run on time," he said.

In a joint meeting with the DPRD, it was agreed that the Bekasi Regency Government and DPRD would send a letter of recommendation to the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform and the National Civil Service Agency to ensure that the inauguration of PPPK Candidates remains on schedule.

"This recommendation will be sent soon as a form of our commitment. With the support of the DPRD, we hope that the inauguration of PPPK Candidates in Bekasi Regency can be carried out according to plan," he said.

With the various steps that have been taken, the Bekasi Regency Government and the Bekasi Regency DPRD have demonstrated their commitment to ensuring that the PPPK Candidate appointment process runs according to the predetermined schedule.

Intensive coordination with Kemenpan-RB and BKN, as well as readiness from administrative and financial aspects, is proof of seriousness in fighting for certainty of status for honorary workers who have passed the selection.

The Bekasi District Government hopes that the central government will provide full support for this effort, so that the inauguration can be carried out on time without any obstacles.

The success of this process will not only have an impact on the welfare of the appointed honorary workers, but also on improving the quality of public services in Bekasi Regency as a whole.
