PORTALJABAR, SUBANG REGENCY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi gave direct instructions to road cleaning officers from UPTD DBMPR Region III West Java, to improve the quality of provincial road maintenance.

During his visit to Jalan Panji, Cigadung Village, Subang Regency, Wednesday (9/4/2025) the Governor emphasized the importance of cleanliness and drainage function to maintain good road conditions.

"Every kilometer of provincial road must be guarded by one officer equipped with a lawn mower," said Dedi.

He emphasized that road damage was mostly caused by waterlogging due to non-functioning channels, not just because of the quality of the asphalt.

The governor also warned that officers who do not perform optimally will be dismissed, while those who keep the roads clean and well-maintained will receive a pay rise.

Closing his direction, Dedi emphasized that service to the community must be the main priority, without debating the limits of authority.

" If it is for the good of the community, don't talk about authority. What is important is that the path is clean and beneficial," he said.
